As a recent addition to the Welschmeyer lab, I am in the process of defining thesis work.  My research interests surround microbial ecology, molecular biology and application of genetic and other technology platforms to environmental monitoring, greening of industrial and consumer processes, and to basic research surrounding health of  marine and coastal environs.
